I have a very hard time waking up at 5:15 am. Though the alarm is set to that time, I can’t remember a time when I’ve actually got up without hitting snooze a few times.

This morning, I woke up when a dog was walking ontop of me.

At around 4:30 or so, apparently Toby was barking because he had no water. I say apparently because I never heard him. Instead of just giving him more water, Kristina decided to let him out of his cage. And instead of taking him outside or even letting him go out on the balcony, she just let him roam around the apartment, pooping multiple times on the floor.

So when I woke up, I thought he’d found a way to escape from his cage and decided to take revenge on us. Nope. He was just bored, so he thought he’d see what we were up to.

So that was the start of my day. Not a great introduction to the weekend.

Tomorrow, we’re meeting up with my parents in Hyannis. I’ve never been there, so I don’t know what we’re going to do. I’m guessing we’ll go out to lunch somewhere, but that’s the only thing that’s planned. Anyone ever been there? What’s there to do?

Last night we watched the season premier of The Apprentice. I was pleasantly surprised because the annoying girl was booted on the first episode. Usually in reality shows, they will find a way to keep the main source of tension around for at least a few episodes. Think Omorosa (I’m not even going to attempt to spell that correctly). Think of just about anyone on the Real World.

But not this time. She got canned. And while watching, you can actually pinpoint the second she got herself fired. As she was trying to respond to Trump, she just kept digging herself a deeper hole. And when she said that women don’t like her because they are intimidated by her wisdom and beauty, the entire viewing audience let out a collective “she’s fired.”

While I was waiting for Kristina to get home yesterday, I wrote a little article about site promotion and posted it on BlogString. I think it’s pretty decent. It’s definitely a light piece with lots of pictures of the dog.
