I don’t know what’s wrong with it, but something is definitely wrong with my eye. I was gallery sitting yesterday, and my right eye was burning. I took out my contact and looked for rips or anything that would cause it to hurt my eye. Nothing.

I took it out and cleaned it, and stored it in saline. Didn’t help.

Finally, it hurt enough that I decided to go to Lenscrafters to see if they could give me another contact. When I got there, I explained to the woman behind the counter that I had to drive home to Malden, but I didn’t have another contact with me. She told me that she couldn’t give me one without a prescription, because if I drove home and got in an accident, they would be liable. I then asked her what she suggested I do. She said: Just take it out and drive with one eye closed.

So that’s exactly what I had to do. So now I’m here posting with one eye closed. It’s going to be a long day. I’m going to call my primary care doc when they open. Maybe they can help.

guh. Yet another awesome start to the week.

I want to post more here about this weekend, but it’s really hard to concentrate on writing right now. So I’ll do that later.
