On Sunday morning, Kristina and I drove to Hanscom Air field to go up in a helicopter. Kristina’s boss, a doctor and chairman of his department, also flies helicopters. So he asked Kristina if she’d like to go some time, and of course, we jumped at the opportunity.
Here’s the copter we were in:

And the view when we took off:

A field:

A scenic shot:

Here is the control panel inside the copter:

A nice little reminder that you shouldn’t jump up and down outside the helicopter when the prop is going:

I think this was Lawrence, MA.

After a while, I started trying to get good pictures of the clouds:

I had a great time. It was so much fun. But we had 50mph winds, which made the ride very bumpy. And Kristina, with her motion sickness kicking in, couldn’t handle it after a while. I didn’t take a picture of her with the barf bag over her mouth, so I have no photographic evidence of that.

Could you like recreate the moment with a brown paper bag or something for my entertainment?
Just kidding, Kristina! I feel really bad for her with her motion sickness, seriously. Where were her 80s wristbands?
