Last night I watched Walk the Line, the Johnny Cash biopic, and it was so good. I really didn’t know much about Cash other than a few of his songs I liked. But for some reason I just had to see the movie, and I’m glad I did.

Joaquin Phoenix is going to win an Oscar for this. He was Johnny Cash.

I’ve never seen a performance like this. Admittedly, I haven’t seen Ray, so I don’t know how good that was. But Joaquin Phoenix looked just like Cash, but more importantly, his singing was dead on.

Reese Witherspoon was also incredible. I can’t believe that these two actors sang everything themselves and sounded so good.

I can’t seem to find the words to describe how good this movie is. Go see it.
