So last night after work, I decided to hunt for the XBox that WBCN is giving away. It is stashed “somewhere in Boston”, and I think I know approximately where it is.
And approximate is a problem.
I spent about an hour looking everywhere for the damn thing. It was about 10 degrees, and I was just walking around looking like a freezing idiot. It is not easy to look like you’re not sketchy when you’re looking everywhere for a green letter “x”. There’s no pretending that you’re just walking to a destination.
So this morning, WBCN announced a new clue: It is in a public place.
Yeah, so that changes NOTHING. But on the positive side, since the clue is useless, it won’t help someone find it while I sit at work all day.
I’ll be going back today to find it. It is my mission now.

I think I know where it was. I was just there and there was lots of footprints and many other people checking it out. I think it was on a seat at the outdoor Publick Theater between the Charles River and Soldiers Field road.

ah, that makes sense!! damn, and I was right there last night. I haven’t heard an announcement yet, but from what you said, I’m sure it’s gone by now.
