I stayed up way too late last night and ended up coming in late today. At about 9pm, my roommates asked me to go with them to O’Brien’s, a bar that’s about 3 minutes away from my place to see a band. I’ve never been there, so I said sure.

My taste in music is a little bit different from my roommates.

Sure, I like a little punk/metal/hardcore now and then. I can deal with it. But this was like seeing a bunch of kids in a cramped wood-grain basement trying to scream as loud as possible. They were awful. Ontop of that, the bar had no air conditioning and it was incredibly hot there.

This morning, I got up way too late and came in after 8:30 am, which is about 2 hours late for me. No good. But, I’m going to be moving into my new place on August 1st, so I can’t help but be in a great mood. Late for work? So what. I’m moving out of my allston place soon. No A/C in the car and it’s 98 degrees? Doesn’t matter, I’m moving soon.
