As you may or may not know, I like Miller Lite. And I’ve gone so far as to write an “Open Letter to Miller Lite,” praising their wonderful product. In fact, I have readily admitted my willingness to sell out and become a shameless advocate for Miller Lite both online and off.

Well, after my Open Letter, Tracey contacted Miller Lite. She sent them a message, pointing to the post, and vouched for my absolute affection and loyalty to the Miller Brewing Company, Milwaukee WI.

Well, on Monday evening, they sent a response. Here’s what they had to say:

It’s great to hear from someone who loves and respects Miller Lite. We, of course, agree with your many kind comments.

Miller already has a recipe book in very limited use and is contemplating a different avenue to display some of our recipes.

While it’s always a compliment to hear from someone who might be interested in working for us, at this time, there are no openings we can discuss with you.

Also, Miller Brewing Company never accepts any unsolicited marketing ideas from the general public because we have many employees and agencies working on promotional materials, and we want to avoid any chance of duplication of ideas.

At any rate, the enthusiasm and loyalty you displayed in your email toward Miller Lite were delightful to read about. Thanks for thinking about us — we certainly appreciate your business!

So, it seems that Miller Lite will not be hiring me as their spokesperson any time in the near future. That’s too bad. But I can’t say anything negative about them. I understand.
