When I left for Thanksgiving last Tuesday afternoon, I had an idea. And I thought it was a really good one.

The idea was this:

I was going to start a new site. I was going to have people send me a dollar. On that dollar, they could write anything they want. They could decorate it. They could put their logo on it. The name of their blog. Their URL.

Then, I would take a photo of it, and put it on the site with a link to them.

I would give 20% of the dollars I get to charity.

I liked the idea. But unfortunately there are a few problems.

1. Defacing federal property- A small problem. It’s against the law.
2. Republishing images of U.S. currency- This is the BIG problem. Apparently this is a felony.

So now I’m going to have to come up with a new idea. Boo.
