Over Thanksgiving, I got a chance to spend some time with my favorite god-child and neice, Kaianna. She’s just over 2 years old and is now talking and walking all the time. She also really likes having her picture taken.
While I was there, she invented a little game. I don’t know what for, but she would climb up one stair, and jump down. She’d then say “Again!” and do it again.
While she was in the air, she would just smile and start laughing and clapping her hands. And it made me think: When was the last time you were this happy to be alive? A time when you have no worries at all, and have the ability to just be so excited and happy. Can you remember the last time you felt like this?
