Friday was my birthday. And instead of spending it here, I was in North Carolina for the second annual Federmack Invitational. For those of you who aren’t familiar with this event, it’s a golf tournament only open to those players who have been judged to be sound in both mind and character by the Federmack Invitational Board of Overseers.
So, thinking that North Carolina is nice and warm, I packed all short sleeved shirts. Not a smart move.
On Friday, it rained all day. No golf. So instead, we went bowling. For 5 hours. That’s a lot of bowling.
On Saturday the rain was done, so we hit the golf course at 9. Golfed for 9 hours. I didn’t win, but put in a respectable (for me) effort. Unfortunately it was freezing, and I was wearing a short-sleeved shirt. I was so cold all day, but was determined not to let the cold ruin the day.
On Sunday afternoon I came home to find my apartment flooded AGAIN. I called the landlord and haven’t heard anything back. Called again a few minutes ago with the same result. It stinks like a moldy basement and my rugs are ruined. And they really tied the room together. I’m not sure what my options are, but I want that rug replaced.
All the dude wanted was his rug back.
It’s always nice to be home after a trip, but coming home to a flooded, stinky apartment is not much of a homecoming.

What did you bowl? Please tell me you said “OVER THE LINE!” as least once
