Someone’s gotta give Denver a little love. But it’s not coming from this corner of Boston. I justd saw Brett Favre looking like Tom Brady in MNF. Or is it Tom looking like Brett? Not sure, but after losing (swept) the World Series in Denver and having to watch the Sox celebrate, the freakin’ Broncos bite it in overtime and Greg Jennings “went and got it” for a #4 touchdown pass….82 yards, game over. Wow.
The Pack is 6-1. I call Pats v. Packers for the Super Bowl. It’s not 1996.

I was thinking the same thing last night during the Broncos game, although I said, “They don’t look so sad,” during the first half.

It’s not so bad here in Denver, really. We were so floored that the Rox had even made it to the Series that we forgot about the Broncos. They should be 0-7 right now anyway, so having a 3-4 record is something to be happy about. Nobody is terribly disappointed with the Rox for getting swept. Everyone is just so stunned with that team for exceeding our expectations that being swept isn’t such a big deal.
Regardless, I’d rather see the Broncos at 7-0 and the Rox with a World Series sweep of their own.
