Yeah, it’s not much of a headline, but hey - in a 1-6 person per team trivia night, Barry and Jimmy by themselves made a pretty decent show of it. (Cutty was busy scoring amyl nitrate, and Prime….well, the less said about what Prime was up to the better…)
The last two categories were what screwed us. “Flowers” and “Animals”. I mean come on. After the entire game had had categories such as “Movies”, “Sports”, “Science”, “World Geography” and “Geometry”, which are at worst unisex, and at best, wholly masculine…we get two final categories that fall squarely into the “rainbows and sunshine” classification.
We need a smart chick to do trivia with. That’s just all there is to it.
I leave you with this though. The best quote of the night came from the waitress who served us that night. Clearing the two extra place settings:
“You guys don’t need these right? You’re not octupuses. I mean octopi.”

You flubbed the line, Jimmy. Her line was:
“You guys don’t need these, right? You ain’t octopuses. I mean octopi.”
She corrected the plural of octopus, yet left ain’t alone.
