We’ve been getting criticism from some of our readers lately. They’re calling us lazy. They’re asking why we haven’t been posting.

Truth is, we’re just lazy during July. It happens. But now it’s August and that all changes. See, we’ve joined nablopomo, which is National Blog Posting Month. We now have to post EVERY day during the entire month, and this month’s theme is:

HOT.

All of our posts this month have to be about the theme.

It’s going to be tough. After talking about the weather, spicy food and attractive ladies, there’s not a lot left to go on. But we’re pretty resourceful here, so I think we can pull it off.

I’m really gone to call it in on this, the first post, and will revert to the oldest trick in the book.

What Comes Up In Google When You Search The Term “Hot“?

1. Avril Lavigne’s Video- I’m serious. Out of 1.3 BILLION results, a video featuring Avril Lavigne is the top result for the word hot.

2. YouTube Video- How to make hot ice. Okay, that I can understand.

3. HotOrNot- Again, this one makes sense to me. A site asking you to rate people’s photos.

then there are a couple of hits from hotmail, then….

4. Hot Videos From Metacafe- Videos tagged as HOT on metacafe, an internet video aggregator.

and then:

5. H.O.T- which is:

a popular five-member South Korean boy band of the late 1990s. The five-member boy band enjoyed massive success alongside the likes of Sechs Kies, Baby Vox, Fin.K.L., S.E.S. and Shinhwa. Like many Korean bands, their name is an acronym - H.O.T. standing for “High-five Of Teenagers”. Before their disbandment they dominated the charts, setting the standard for other Kpop boybands. They were formed by SM Entertainment in 1996 and disbanded in 2001.
