Well hey there, tellhimfred-ers. Thanks for coming by. You might remember ol’ barryfreed. I’m the fellow that started this blog, then dropped off the face of the planet. Luckily, Jimmy Hoffa has picked up the slack and kept this thing alive. Thanks, Jimmy. 

So, it’s election night, and it certainly looks like my old friend Barack Obama is going to pull it off. I couldn’t be happier, as I need this economy to crawl out of the grave so I can get a job. See, tellhimfred-ers, I’m unemployed.

Yup. The internet startup I was working at died last week. I’d been there for nearly two years, and it just shut its doors. We were told we’d have funding for at least another year, but out of nowhere our investors (members of the wealthy Cheetos family) changed their minds and pulled all the dough out of our company. Last week at 10 in the morning on Monday we were told we had 2 hours to pack up all of our personal items, hand in our laptops, and say goodbye to the nice security guards strategically stationed at the door. 

Well, it’s a week later, and I’m still trying to figure out my next move. And now that President Obama is going to be taking over, I’m confident that the economy will do the same thing as the last time we elected a Democrat: boom.

So, I’m going to really put myself out there and make a bold projection: Barack Obama has won. 

BTW- If the news changes in like an hour, I’ll probably just delete this post anyway. So there.
