The Mouth Breather

I sit roughly 10 feet from the nearest person in my office. He’s a nice enough guy, but he’s a loud breather. By that I mean, as I sit here, I’m wearing headphones with the volume at full blast, and I can hear nothing but breathing. It is absolute incredible, and what’s better is that he has complained about other people “typing too loudly”….so loudly that he cannot concentrate.

 

Chris Brown Hits Someone Else I’ve Never Heard Of?

It’s official. I’m pop-culturally irrelevant. Seems that everyone on the internet was talking about Chris Brown and Rhianna yesterday. I think Rhianna is that woman that is continuing the stupid “make-my-voice-sound-like-a-synthesizer” trend that needs to be stopped. Now that I think of it, I’m pretty sure she looks like a mix between a robot and some kind of space vampire. Chris Brown is some guy that does some thing that apparently made him famous. What strikes me as amazing is the fact that people know about these two and want to share their opinions about them. I’m not trying to trivialize a dude beating up a lady…..not at all. Instead, I’m just pointing out the fact that any story about a couple of minor celebrities can be reported one minute, and seconds later everyone on the internet has an expert opinion.

Sully, the pilot hero

Is there a TV show that Sully has not been on yet? I was at darts the other night, and I saw him being interviewed by Katie Couric followed by a 20/20/60 Minutes crew. Back to back. The guy sure did a nice job at landing the plane safely and he saved a lot of lives, but it’s the same story every single time. Did you hear that there’s a new drink called a Sully? It’s two parts grey goose and a splash of water.

All right, this post is a piece of shit. I just had Randi read it, and she said “it’s a lot like leftovers. You just throw a bunch of stuff together and hope it turns out okay. In this case, it didn’t, and I don’t think you could add anything to make it better.”

She’s right. But I’ve got 30 minutes to post this before the rigid deadline given to us by nablopomo. So there. Hopefully I’ll have something better on Friday.
