Damn.
Another dart loss. But this one really was a heartbreaker. We played the number one team, and were with them in every game. There were no blowouts….
We won the first game when I accomplished something I’ve never done before: a three-dart out on a game of ‘01. But I lost to a “lights out” player [...]

Busy Times
October 21st, 2005 · No Comments
Wow.
It feels like I just got off the helicopter and it’s already Friday. Whoa.
At work, I’m trying to finish the first newsletter for the Boston Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators, come up with a new design for the firm site, and weather the Slashdot storm.
For those of you who may not know, [...]

Bush’s Staged Conference
October 14th, 2005 · 1 Comment
Yesterday, a “conversation with U.S. troops” was exposed to show that questions from the President and the answers were scripted.

“OK, so let’s just walk through this,” Barber said. “Captain Kennedy, you answer [...]

But the sign says I’m not responsible
October 5th, 2005 · 5 Comments
Driving in this morning, I saw a truck with the following sign on the back:
I love this. Imagine someone walking around with a shotgun, just shooting at random. But since he’s wearing a T-Shirt that says “Not Responsible For Gunshot Wounds”, he can’t be held liable for anything. Absolutely ridiculous.

Ads
October 4th, 2005 · No Comments
Normally I hate advertisements. Especially TV ads, but online ads are just as annoying.
On my other two blogs I have ads. I’m pretty much trying to break even with these sites, but I’m nowhere near that yet. On those blogs, I have Google AdSense ads. I am not able to talk about how much [...]

Former education secretary and director of drug control policy Bill Bennett is causing some serious controversy. On his radio show “Morning in America,” he said the following:

Rude Awakening
September 23rd, 2005 · No Comments
I have a very hard time waking up at 5:15 am. Though the alarm is set to that time, I can’t remember a time when I’ve actually got up without hitting snooze a few times.
This morning, I woke up when a dog was walking ontop of me.
At around 4:30 or so, apparently Toby [...]

Boston Craig’s List People
September 20th, 2005 · 1 Comment
I haven’t been looking at Craig’s List’s Boston site in a long time. I used to check out rants and raves almost daily, but I’ve pretty much given up on it. It’s very predictable.
Rants and Raves Personalities
There are several personality types that are always posting on Craig’s List. You can’t escape them.
You’re a filthy [...]

Get sites to link to your blog
September 15th, 2005 · No Comments
I spent a little bit of time last night posting on BlogString.com and LawFirmBlogging.com. I was trying to think of some useful tips for bloggers that are trying to get links to their site, and came up with “5 Ways to get links to your blog“.
Over on LawFirmBlogging.com, I’m keeping track of all the [...]

Be sure to credit your sources…

Wow.
Simply wow.
I was looking at Problogger.net today, as I haven’t gone to that site in a while. While there, I found out that there is an all-out war between bloggers based on people “ripping off” other people’s posts and ideas. Tell him, fred.
